Black Student Success Centre

The Black Student Success Centre is dedicated to supporting and championing the holistic (academic, personal and professional) success and overall well-being of Black/African descent students and fostering a positive Black student and athlete experience. The centre is a safe space where students can meet, share, socialize and access specialized support and services.

African Caribbean Graduate Student Association (ACGSA)

ACGSA is tailored for students from Africa, the Caribbean, or for those that self-identify as being of African, Caribbean, or African American ancestry. All McMaster graduate students who are interested in things pertaining to the people of Africa (all races and colours), the Caribbean, African Americans, and their socio-cultural interests are welcome.

National Black Graduate Network (NBGN)

The NBGN is an initiative to promote communication and collaboration among Black graduate students and students of Black Studies in Canada.

CAGS Webinar Series: The Good and the Bad of Black Grad

The aim of this five-part webinar series is to create a space for dialogue that encourages Black academics to share their stories and experiences. These webinars will provide a platform to amplify the multitude of Black voices that are scattered across the country, with the ultimate goal of creating a digital anthology of the experiences of Black students and postdocs in Canada today.
