In this session, we will discuss why asking for support can be so difficult. We will unpack negative beliefs we hold about ourselves and break down assumptions we tend to make about other people that get in the way of making connections.


Graduate students will leave the session empowered to reach out for the support and connection that we all need and deserve.


Facilitator: Zeinab Khawaja, a health promoter at the Student Wellness Centre who is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work.


This session is a closed group for McMaster graduate students and is offered as part of Thrive week.
