Location: In person on campus
Presentations can be challenging, especially if you are not comfortable with public speaking, or if English is not your first language. In this special workshop designed for international graduate students, you will learn how to successfully deliver a short research presentation. Students will be introduced to key strategies for organizing your thoughts, speaking clearly, using vocal speed and tone effectively, and other tools for engaging your audience.
This workshop is presented by the McMaster Office for the Development of English Language Learners (MODEL) in partnership with the School of Graduate Studies in support of the GradFlix competition.
All international graduate students are welcome to attend.
This session is completed.
Important Note: the Workshop Series sessions are not recorded; please plan to attend in person.
