Flexible Teaching with Echo360: Engaging students in the online classroom
Aug 19, 2021
10:00AM to 11:30AM

As we work towards safely bringing more in-person experiences back to campus this fall, there are many opportunities to create flexible and engaging hybrid teaching environments using Echo360. Join Katie Moisse, assistant professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Science, for two interactive workshops to learn about and explore the Echo360 platform for hy-flex teaching. These sessions are coordinated by the MacPherson Institute.
*Attendees should register for both sessions as each covers different topics and materials.
Session 1 – Thursday, August 12
Join us for an interactive workshop to learn how instructors can leverage the Echo360 platform for their teaching. During this introductory session, Katie Moisse will share her research demonstrating strong support for hy-flex learning environments, describe how to use the tool and answer questions during a live Q&A.
Session 2 – Thursday, August 19
Come back for an interactive workshop to learn more advanced functions within the Echo360 platform. During the session, participants will explore examples of active learning activities that work in person and online using Echo360 and learn how to set up and use analytics. Katie will answer questions during a live Q&A.
