Inclusive Collaboration
Aug 11, 2021
1:00PM to 2:30PM

Join us for this interactive webinar with facilitator Jim Brosseau, to explore strategies and techniques for inclusive collaboration.
Jim has been working with teams for almost three decades, educating people about the role that relationships and interpersonal friction have in the success or failure of projects. For anyone exploring careers in collaborative or team-based environments, this webinar will provide a solid foundation for building your professional relationship skills.
Whether because of cultural differences or any of the myriad other forms of diversity that can separate us, we are often challenged in collaborating with others.
There are mechanisms in play that reinforce our perceptions that difference is not good, but in reality if we can learn to work through those mechanisms we can become fully inclusive and leverage the benefits that our differences bring in our relationships.
This workshop explores the value of true inclusion, explores the mechanisms that can drive us apart and some of the false starts we may encounter along the way. From there, we identify steps to take both individually and collaboratively to benefit from working together on the basis of genuine inclusion.
- Introduction: The what and why of inclusion
- Underlying mechanisms at work
- Bumps in the road to inclusion
- Personal shifts
- Collaborative shifts
