Location: Lyons New Media Centre, Mills Library. Registration is required.

This workshop will be delivered in two parts:

Part 1: Stop Motion (1 hour)

• Learn how to set up a DSLR camera, tripod, and lights in the Media Production Studio
• Taking photographs for stop-motion – tips for maintaining continuity

Part 2: Video Editing Stop Motion & Animation – Text and Objects (1 hour)

Software used: Camtasia

• Edit together the photographs to make a stop-motion video
• Add text and object animations to videos
• Video editing tips
• Work period with provided source files

This hands-on workshop is limited to 12 people. Participants will use media production studio equipment and software available in the Lyons New Media Centre.
