Call extended for grad student nominations to Senate
Grad student representative seats are open on McMaster’s Board of Governors, Senate and University Planning Committee.
Nominations now close on February 11 at 4 p.m. Learn more about the positions on the Secretariat website.
These positions are all two-year terms and provide an opportunity to:
- develop a deeper understanding of university governance
- strengthen your resume
- build professional relationships
- learn how the university operates
- network with other members
- gain professional skills
Elections will be held in March 2022 to fill vacant graduate student representative seats on the following university-wide governing bodies:
Board of Governors
Graduate Student Representative
- One vacancy (2 year-term)
Senate
Graduate Student Representatives – one from each of the following Faculties
- Faculty of Business (2-year term)
- Faculty of Humanities (2-year term)
- Faculty of Social Sciences (2-year term)
University Planning Committee
Graduate Student Representative
- One vacancy (2-year term)
Nomination forms are available on the Secretariat website.
Completed nomination forms must be received by the University Secretariat at unielec@mcmaster.ca by 4 p.m. on Friday Feb. 4, 2022.
