This summer, develop a consistent art habit and explore new modes of art-making with The Creative Process: Well-being through art.
This eight-session program runs over the Spring-Summer semester (16 weeks).
Join M(M)A’s education staff Nicole Knibb and Teresa Gregorio as they explore how developing creative habits are connected to, and can improve, overall well-being. Rooted in the creation of a personal sketchbook, this custom-designed course encourages the development of participants’ own artistic practices, while also offering a tool for reflection and stress-reduction.
Hosted on McMaster University’s Avenue to Learn platform, instructional videos will be released every two weeks, guiding you through different media including watercolour painting, beadwork, and collage, all based in the reflective space of a personal sketchbook.
