Help to co-design a new transition program for grad students with disabilities
The School of Graduate Studies and Student Accessibility Services (SAS) are looking for students to help them co-design a transition program aimed at helping grad students with disabilities.
During three co-design sessions, all participants will collaborate to create content for a safe, inclusive, and educational summer program that helps students learn and connect about transitioning into grad school, especially as students with disabilities.
We are looking for a diversity of experiences, with a focus on graduate students registered with SAS or who identify as a future McMaster graduate student with a disability.
Who can join
Students who are currently enrolled in a graduate program at Mac or students who accepted an offer to start a graduate program here in September of 2022.
Application deadline and how to apply
Students are asked to express their interest by 11:59 p.m. ET on April 4.
A limited number of spots are available and students will be contacted by April 11, regarding their application.

When and where will the co-design sessions happen
Sessions are scheduled for April 21, April 28, and May 5 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Zoom.
Honorarium: Funding to be provided if student(s) meet eligibility criteria (identify as being in part of an equity-deserving group)
