McMaster scholarship payments and refunds are paid via e-transfer.
Scholarship payment
If you have a scholarship payment owing to you, we will coordinate the refund for you. You will receive an e-transfer to your McMaster email address within one week after we have processed the payment.
Scholarships paid through e-transfer include:
- graduate scholarships
- entrance scholarships
- department scholarships
- external scholarships
- tuition scholarships
- Tri-Agency awards (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC)
Student account credit
If you have a credit (negative balance) showing on your account, request your refund by emailing refunds@mcmaster.ca.
Include REFUND, your name and 9-digit ID number in the subject line. We will verify the refund and process the refund through e-transfer. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing and delivery. For more detailed information, visit the Registrar’s website.
