Applications are open for the E.B. Eastburn Postdoctoral Fellowship
The 2023 E.B. Eastburn Postdoctoral Fellowship Competition is under way.
The E.B. Eastburn Fellowship is delivered in partnership with the Hamilton Community Foundation, under the terms of a bequest to the foundation by the late Eugene B. Eastburn.
This Fellowship is available to a postdoctoral fellow completing for full-time studies in Engineering or Sciences (Natural or Physical Sciences, including Health Sciences). This two-year Fellowship is valued at $45,000 per year, to a total of $90,000.

Who can apply
To be eligible for this fellowship, you must be a Canadian citizen or have permanent residence status. The Eastburn Fellowship is open to candidates who have/will have successfully defended their PhD thesis no more than five years before the application deadline, or by December 31, 2023. Candidates must be eligible to start a postdoctoral position by December 31, 2023.
This award is tenable at McMaster University, where the fellow is expected to pursue full-time postdoctoral study and research for the term of the Fellowship.
