Tuition and supplementary fees

Tuition fees are assessed on a term-by-term basis.

Supplementary fees are charged in addition to your tuition. These fees help support the campus-wide services.

Ranked among the top 100 universities in the Shanghai Ranking’s Academic Ranking of World Universities 2023. McMaster has been ranked 33rd in the world in the THE’s Education’s University Impact Rankings for 2023, based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

We have been named one of Canada’s most research-intensive university by Research Infosource.

We are home to 200 Research Chairs, including 70 Canada Research Chairs achieving research excellence in Engineering, Science, Business, Health Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences.
